Forse qualcuno si sta chiedendo perché ci sono tutte queste sculture in giardino e tanti quadri colorati dappertutto.

Durante le due pause obbligatorie della locanda – il terribile terremoto nel 2016 e l’emergenza Corona nel 2020 – sentivo sempre di più il bisogno (avendo anche più tempo) di creare qualcosa di nuovo, partendo da terra, frantumi e spazzatura.

L’attività stessa e anche i nostri ospiti producono tanta spazzatura: contenitori in plastica, , tappi, bottiglie d’acqua o di shampoo, sacchettini delle cialde di caffè ecc. E poi ci sono sempre ancora materiali residui del cantiere della ristrutturazione.

Mi sono sempre occupata del problema dei rifiuti. Le mie creature in cemento nascono da rifiuti ingombranti vari che fanno da sostegno ed i rifiuti piccoli danno vita ai quadri che vedete nelle camere, in sala e anche all’esterno.

Chi è interessato può vedere qui tutte le mie opere non esposte o già vendute.

Vielleicht fragt sich die eine oder der andere, was es mit den vielen Skulpturen und Bildern in Haus und Garten auf sich hat.

Seit den beiden Zwangspausen unseres Gästehauses – dem schrecklichen Erdbeben in unserer Gegend im Jahr 2016 und der Corona-Krise 2020 – habe ich das verstärkte Bedürfnis (und auch die Zeit) gehabt, mich mit Kunst zu beschäftigen und Neues zu schaffen.

Hinzu kommt, dass durch unsere Arbeit und auch durch unsere Gäste sehr viel Müll anfällt: Kunststoffbehälter, Plastik- und Shampooflaschen, Deckel, Espressopadtütchen usw. Und dann gibt es da immer noch Materialreste von unseren Restaurierungsarbeiten.

Das Thema Müll beschäftigt mich sowieso schon länger. Deshalb schaffe ich Beton-Skulpturen für den Garten, um größeren Müll herum und viele Bilder aus diversen Abfällen, die in den Zimmern, im Gastraum und auch hier und da im Freien hängen.

Wer sich dafür interessiert, kann sich hier alles ansehen, auch diejenigen Werke, die gerade nicht öffentlich zu sehen sind oder schon ein neues Zuhause gefunden haben.

Maybe someone is wondering why there are all these sculptures in the garden and so many colourful paintings everywhere.

During the two forced breaks of our guest house – the terrible earthquake in 2016 and the Corona crisis in 2020 – I felt more and more the need (having even more time) to create something new, starting from dirt, shattering and rubbish.

Our activity itself and also our guests produce a lot of trash: plastic containers, caps, water and shampoo bottles, bags of coffee pods etc. And then there is still material left over from our restoration work.

I have always dealt with the waste problem. My concrete creatures are born from various bulky waste that support the sculptures. Smaller trash elements give life to the paintings you can see in the rooms, in the hall and also outside.
